Application and Instructions - School of Leadership


The application process is streamlined to meet the needs of adults with multiple responsibilities.

Application Requirements - Undergraduate Program

  • Application
  • Letter of Interest (a letter that accompanies your application that describes your background and education/career goals.  Please limit to two pages.  Email to slpaadmissions@duq.edu.)
  • Official high school transcripts*.  A GED diploma may be submitted in lieu of a high school transcript.
  • Any official college and/or university transcript(s) with prior credits.*
  • An intereview with an academic advisor.  This interview can be done by phone for online students.  Contact the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement to schedule an admissions interview.  412.396.5034/1.800.283.3853. 

Application Requirements - Graduate Program

  • Application
  • Transcripts from undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university*
  • A minimum of two years professional experience
  • A 500-word state describing your academic and professional goals (email to slpaadmissions@duq.edu)

*Official transcripts are only those mailed directly to the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement from the issuing institution.  Transcripts marked "Issued to Student" are not official.
